Since the retirement of French icon Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid manager in May 2018 after winning three back to back Champions league trophy, Real Madrid has undergone a lot in its transition process. Characterized with poor results, it has bee a tough journey for the 13 times UEFA CL holders.

The departure of Zidane caused ripple effects at Santiago Bernabeu. Their talisman Cristiano Ronaldo decided to call it over after 9years of pilling his trade at the Madrid based club. Lopetegui Appointment

Julen Lopetegui Argote a Spanish and a former footballer who played as a goalkeeper, played 149 games in La Liga over 11 seasons, appearing in the competition for Real Madrid, Logroñés, Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano was appointed a time when Spain was bracing for Russia 2018 World Cup tournament.
